Makers are essential to products throughout all developmental stages.

I think all Makers would agree that a very freeing state of mind is in action when designing and developing innovative products. What starts as a mere image in your mind, then determining how to shape, mold, stamp or in any way necessary, end up with a first generation product. The prototype. Makers are the creative force.
Then, Research & Development run the prototype through multiple tests to improve it for approval to release to Production.
Makers enjoy being in the moment as neurons are stimulated and that therapeutic feeling you get as hands, eyes, and brain are all engaged simultaneously in developing products.
The nutshell version is that Makers can all have their own individual image of the final product and somehow instantly see the process laid out before them. Before ever sketching or drafting. Before picking up the first tool.
Crossing the finishing line is when the 3-dimensional product is in their (your) hands. The prototype. If there ends up being little revisions along the way, even better. That means you’re doing it right. Revisions mean you are bent on making it better. That 1st generation product in your hands is like being on the top podium in the Olympics. You are holding your own gold medal. We never hold the final revision on the first try.
Standards are high here. It’s in the name. Upgrades. Every product went through a development that requires testing, fitting, and a final stamp of approval. I love every day here.
